A room designed by an Auburn businesswoman for a fund-raising event will be featured in the fall issue of Traditional Home Magazine. The master bathroom designed by Lynne Maxfield of Decorating Plus Inc. on Center Street in Auburn was one of three rooms selected for inclusion in the magazine. The bathroom is part of the Designers ShowHouse ‘97 sponsored by the Portland Symphony Orchestra’s Women’s Committee. The house, a classic seaside mansion in Cape Elizabeth, designed by John Calvin Stevens, was open to the public for three weeks in June, ending today.
