NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 205 Main Street, Norway is excited to announce its third Pop-up Yard and Book Sale on Saturday, July 2 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Thanks to a generous Oxford Hills Community, the previous sales were very successful. The church parking lot will be full of unique and gently used decorations, small appliances, linens, dishes, cookware, household items, kids’ toys, sporting goods, tools, and some furniture. There will once again be a “$2/bag section”, and new near the shed, a giant book sale section.
The money raised by the Yard Sale will be used for the many missions of our community church, which include but are not limited to: the monthly free drive-thru supper, online and in-person worship service, Bible study, knitting and book groups, and repair of the basement floor.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
