The Auburn Public Library plans to hold a gathering at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at 49 Spring St., to show off recent renovations.
The library has received a grant from International Paper that allowed it to spruce up its Teen Space, according to a news release from the library. This program will be followed by an ESports Workshop for teens.
With the grant money, the library was able to update the paint, add some new furniture and decor, and get a TV for the space.
The event will offer refreshments.
“At International Paper, we believe our company cannot succeed if our communities do not succeed,” said Tracy Burke, Auburn’s general manager. “We are proud to support Auburn Public Library as they strive to make an impact on education and critical community needs in the Auburn community.”
International Paper in Auburn transforms renewable resources into recyclable product for everyday use.
