BRIDGTON — At Narramissic Historic Farm in South Bridgton, reenactors will feature skirmishes, drills, marching, and demonstrations, starting at 1 p.m. Members of the 3rd Maine Vol. Infantry Company A, 35th Virginia Company B, and Civilian reenactors, ‘Be What Remains’, will be participating.

Blacksmith demonstrations start at 1 p.m. and the Historic Farmhouse will be open for self-guided tours of the first floor until 3:30. Mike Davis will present a speech on local politics building up to the Civil War at 3:30 p.m. Beast Feast will be serving food starting at 4 p.m. Abraham Lincoln’s Second Inaugural Speech – ‘A Unity for America’, will be presented by reenactor John Voehl of Colorado at 5 p.m. John has provided over 1,300 Lincoln presentations in 45 states. He is a lifetime member of the Association of Lincoln Presenters and is recognized nationally as a Lincoln Historian and presenter as the 16th President of the United States. Bring chairs, blankets, drinks, and a picnic, as the event will be outside and is free to the public. Donations are appreciated. The rain date will be July 10 at the same time.
