MECHANIC FALLS – Phyllis Mae (Jackson) Bragdon, 84, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at home with her loving family by her side.

She was born May 27, 1938, in Dummer, N.H. A daughter of the late Phillip and Loretta (Mailhot) Jackson.

On Dec. 16, 1961, she married Arthur Bragdon Sr., and was happily married for 50 years until his passing in 2011. They enjoyed many years of riding their motorcycle together, camping and playing cards.

Phyllis worked at numerous factories in the area, including Marcal Paper Mill, Mecon Manufacturing, and National Wood Products. Her last job was being an aid for Hudson Bus Lines.

She enjoyed traveling and made many trips to Florida. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Loretta Jackson; her loving husband, Arthur Bragdon Sr.; and great-grandson, Deontae Hammond.

She is survived by her loving children, daughters Cindy Giguere and her husband Richard, Debra Harnden, Susan Purington and her husband Anthony, and Tracy Davis and her husband Edward, her son, Arthur Bragdon Jr. and his significant other, Brenda Hart, her stepchildren Bonnie Carbary and her husband Ronald, and Levi Bragdon and his wife Barbara. She also leaves to cherish her memory her 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.

In keeping with Phyllis wishes there will be a graveside service on July 11, at 11:30 a.m. in the Gracelawn Memorial Park, 980 Turner St., Auburn, ME 04210.
