Do you own some interesting antiques or collectibles about which you would like some information? Maybe family folklore says that you have a valuable piece, but you have never had it officially appraised. Well, now is your chance! Mike Ivankovich, host of Philadelphia’s “What’s It Worth? Ask Mike the Appraiser” Radio Show, will be offering his “What’s It Worth?” Zoom appraisal program at the Rangeley Public Library on Wednesday, July 20th, from 6-8:00 PM. While Mike will be attending by Zoom from Pennsylvania, local residents have the option of attending this event in person at the Rangeley Public Library, or joining by Zoom from the comfort of home.

The program will begin with a short discussion on “Understanding Value”. Then Mike and his associates will perform 1-on-1 appraisals for the first 25-30 people who have signed up in advance letting us know that they have an item they would like to have appraised. It is recommended that each participant also have a back-up item. In the event that Mike cannot virtually see the first item, he can appraise the back-up item. Each appraisal will take approximately 2-3 minutes. Buying and selling strategies will be offered throughout the program.

All people who are interested in participating are encouraged to call the Rangeley Public Library at 864-5529 as soon as possible as we expect this event to fill up quickly. People are welcome to view the program even without having items appraised, but we still ask that you sign up in advance as seating is limited.
