Albert J. Bouchard
NORTHFIELD, N.H. – Albert J. Bouchard 89, peacefully passed away at home on Saturday July 2, 2022. Albert was born Jan. 8, 1933, in Caribou. He was the son of the late Albert J. Bouchard Sr. and Phoebe (Bouchard) Willett, Houston.
He served in the United States Air Force after high school, then went on to acquire his electrical engineering degree. He used this degree working at Raytheon for over 30 years. While working for Raytheon he was able to travel to many countries which he thoroughly enjoyed. In his retirement, Albert worked part-time at Walmart where he enjoyed socializing with fellow employees and customers.
Albert was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Robert Bouchard; and Al’s former wife, Claudette.
He leaves behind three sons, David Bouchard and partner Chrisy McNee of Newton, N.H., Eric Bouchard of Belmont, N.H., James Bouchard and wife Marci of Northfield, N.H; his brother, Lawrence “Pete” Bouchard and wife Estelle of Lewiston, and sister-in-law, Irene Bouchard of Georgetown, Mass.; and former wife, Kumsuk Min; four grandchildren, Tylor Bouchard of Belmont, N.H., Trevor Bouchard of Belmont, N.H., Brandon Bouchard of Raymond, N.H. and Kaylyn Cushman of Northfield, N.H.; many nieces, nephews; and great-grandchildren. Albert will also be dearly missed by his beloved Australian Shepard, Cammie.
A final farewell, prayers and committal service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery on Switzerland Road, Lewiston at 11 a.m., on Friday July 22, in the large chapel in the mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
