Natasha Jean Moore
LEWISTON – Natasha Jean Moore, 44, of Greene, passed away Sunday July 3, 2022 with her family by her side.
For the past four years Natasha has courageously fought stage 4 melanoma, never once losing hope, with unwavering strength, positivity and always with a smile on her face.
Natasha was born Oct. 7, 1977, the daughter of Rhonda Gosselin and Michael Lemieux. She grew up in Auburn, graduating in 1995 from Edward Little High School before attending college and pursuing a career as a medical assistant, working at Family Health Care Associates, and later at Central Maine Family Practice.
She spent several years working alongside her friend Jen at Boyd’s Learning Daycare, and later began her own business, opening her home and heart to care for, teach and have years of fun with the children at her daycare, Learn N Moore.
On Sept. 15, 2001 Natasha married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Kevin Moore. Together they raised their two children, Saige and Hunter. They resided in Greene with their children and dogs, Jackson and Winnie.
Natasha will always be remembered for her heart of gold and for always having a beautiful smile on her face. With her love and talent for cooking and baking, she hosted many family holiday meals, and baked and decorated countless birthday cakes for her children, nephews and friends. Memories that will forever be treasured.
She was a fan of baseball and enjoyed watching and attending New York Yankees games with her family. She was the biggest fan of course of her children, watching her son play baseball and her daughter compete in cheerleading through the years. One of her joys was her weekends away scrapbooking with her dear friends, “The Diamonds”. Throughout her life she was a wonderful daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. Most of all she was a loving and selfless wife and mother.
While raising her own children, she gave the gift of family to a couple unable to achieve that on their own. She carried and blessed them with twins via surrogacy, a beautiful gift that will forever be appreciated.
Natasha is survived by her husband, Kevin; daughter, Saige and son, Hunter; her mother, Rhonda Gosselin and partner Tom Richardson of Greene, father, Michael Lemieux and stepmother Rita of Turner; brother, Dylan and wife Brandi of Auburn; sister, Jodi Robichaud, her husband Brad and nephews Jay and Caleb of Lewiston; grandmother, Jean Gosselin of Auburn, grandmother, Connie Lemieux of Auburn; uncle, Don Gosselin and aunt Carry, uncle, Dan Lemieux, aunt, Joanne Lalemand and uncle Skip, aunt, Michelle Kyllonen and uncle David; lifelong friends Angie Martel, Jennifer and Bill Adams, Michelle and Mike Boone, Cory and Kristen Pelkey, Jennifer and Jason Boyd, and Harry and Michele Bedigan; among many more friends, cousins, and extended family.
