Charles “Chuck” N. Bourgette

AUBURN – Charles “Chuck” N. Bourgette passed away peacefully Saturday July 9, 2022, in his truck watching the sun rise on a beautiful Maine morning.

Chuck was born on Nov. 12. 1963, to the late Normand A Bourgette and Constance M. (Morin) Bourgette. He was educated in Lewiston and SAD 52 schools. He attended CMCC for a bit taking classes in electrical services. Chuck spent his life working as a Jack-Of-All-Trades, mastering none. He was happy to know a little bit about a lot of things.

Chuck lived his life on his own terms. All who knew him knew he was determined to walk his own path in his own way. He left us the same way. He worked hard, loved fiercely and played even harder. He was stubborn to a fault at times, but he faced his challenges head-on with determination and grit – a gift he’s passed on to his daughter, April.

He is survived by his mother, Constance Bourgette of Lewiston, daughter April Wilson and her husband Timothy of Randolph, three grandchildren, Corey, Eric and Abbigail Wilson, his sister Rachel Bourgette and her husband Joseph Pobe Jr. of Lewiston, niece Alyssa Pobe-Bourgette and nephews Jacob and Brysen Pobe-Bourgette. Chuck also leaves behind many cousins aunts and uncles.

Chuck was predeceased by his father Normand Bourgette, and his wife Julie Bourgette

A memorial service will be held at Albert and Burpee Funeral Home Tuesday, July 19, at 11 a.m. The service will be followed immediately by a celebration of life at Rachel and Joe’s home.

To honor Chuck, we ask that people dress comfortably in their favorite clothes or concert t-shirt. Bring your happy memories and funny stories as this is exactly what Chuck would have wanted.
