Dennis L. Walton

SOUTH PARIS – Dennis L. Walton, passed on July 7, 2022, at Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation after a long illness.He was born in Lewiston, Maine on July 11, 1948, the son of Lester and Myrtle Walton and lived in South Paris up to his illness.He was educated in Stratton and Hebron schools and known for his nice cursive hand writing – never printing. He was married to Janice Billings up to her passing in Jan. 17, 2016. He worked in area shoe shops in the shipping and receiving department and worked for the Norway Transfer Station. He was never without job. He studied automotive mechanics in Portland and was very good at body work. He successfully completed a course in Customer Service in 2005.He is survived by his sisters, Dottie Libby and husband David, Evelyn Billings and husband Richard, Marlene Danforth and husband Rudy and Melody Walton and fiance David Seeley.Predeceased by wife Janice and parents, Lester and Myrtle Walton.Many thanks to all of the caring people at Norway Center for Health and Rehabilitation.A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
