Roland R. Tremblay
LEWISTON – Roland R. Tremblay, 84, of Lewiston, died on Monday, July 18, 2022 at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with his loving wife by his side following a short illness.
He was born in Lewiston, Maine, on March 27, 1938, the son of the late Edward and Emilienne (LaPlante) Tremblay and had been a resident of this community all of his life.
He was employed for many years as a supervisor at Pioneer Plastics then later was employed as a custodian at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center until his retirement.
Roland enjoyed listening to music, singing and loved his electronics.
He was a parishioner of the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Claudette G. (L’Italien) Tremblay of Lewiston whom he married on Sept. 23, 1967; one sister Susan Rosenbaum and her husband Bob of Flagler Beach, Florida; one sister-in-law Lucille Tremblay of Lewiston; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Laurianne Hynes and Lucille Salais; and one brother Bertrand Tremblay.
A funeral mass honoring Roland’s life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 11 a.m., at the Basilica of Sts. Peter and Paul (Upper Church). Committal services will then follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 from 5-8 p.m., at the Pinette Dillingham & Lynch Funeral Home 305 Alfred A.
