SABATTUS — The 9th annual Sabattus Rec Club Blackjack 5K event will now take place on Thursday, July 28. The event was postponed from July 21 due to severe thunderstorms.
The Blackjack 5K takes place at the Oak Hill Middle School on Ballpark Rd. in Sabattus and focuses on the luck of cards collected along the route and getting exercise, whether running or walking. Anyone can win some great prizes, no matter their time to complete the course.
Registration is still only $5 and starts at 5 p.m. The event goes off at 6 p.m. FMI, email running@sabattusrec.com, or check out our Facebook page — Sabattus Rec Club Running Program.
