The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club has announced the induction of Aaron Hagan as its president for the rotary year 2022-23. Each July 1 around the world, local rotary clubs, districts and worldwide affiliations swear in new officers, according to a news release from the club.

Hagan has been a member of rotary for three years. He is vice president and manager of Key Bank Bridgton. He lives his life exemplifying service above self, the rotary motto. Last year he was awarded Volunteer of the Year by the Greater Bridgton-Lake Region Chamber of Commerce.

A native of Australia with a family, he has planted roots in the Bridgton area. Hagan has been an active member of the club since joining, playing a key role on the Community Service Committee and in the annual Duck Race. His goals for his year include expanded partnerships in the community, working with other clubs, and engaging others in their work. He remarked, “The 4th of July Duck Race was a great start to the rotary year, with a big festive crowd enjoying it. I look forward to partnering with the many other local organizations to make a positive impact in our great community.”
