Joan Marie Albert Dubois

LISBON – Joan Marie Albert Dubois born on April 22, 1943, in Caribou, passed away peacefully on Monday July 25, 2022, at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn, at the age of 79.

After growing up in Lewiston she moved to Lisbon where she dedicated her life to raising her family, and her fur family which she loved very much and had many members over the years. But when she did have time to herself Joan loved to spend her mornings watching daytime soap operas and tending to her garden.

Joan also loved the sun more than anyone and would spend as much time in it as possible. When it came to family time Joan loved to play games, especially Yahtzee, and dinner time was always a treat because she was an amazing cook and made the best spaghetti you could find. Anyone that knew Joan would tell you she was the kindest and most caring person in the world. She now joins her husband Donald Dubois in the afterlife to spend the rest of eternity together.

Joan is survived by her four children; Debbie Jo, Denise, Diane, and Donald, her brothers Robert, and Jerry, five grandchildren, Jeffery, Joshua, Tyler, Brooke, and Phillip, and four great-grandchildren, Alana, Laythan, Madeleine, and Jayson.

Joan was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Emily, and her sister Irene. Funeral services will be held for Joan and Donald on Saturday August 6, at Hillside Cemetery, High Street, in Lisbon Falls at 11 a.m.
