POLAND — The Select Board approved the renewal of three annual marijuana licenses Tuesday night.

Hi-Lo Dispensary on 435 Maine St., Forever Green at 457 Maine St. and The Cannabis Cabin at 48 Mechanic Falls Road were approved for Adult Use Retail.

Cannabis Cabin was also approved for an annual Adult Use Cultivation license.

The next marijuana licensing lottery will be held Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. in the Town Office conference room.

The board accepted the bid of $22,575 from Atlantic Recycling Equipment LLC for two roll-off containers for the transfer station. Technology International Inc. submitted a bid of $23,796.

The funds will come from the capital improvement project account.

Deputy Town Manager Nikki Pratt announced the town enrolled in the Community Resilience Partnership, a state program to assist municipalities gain grants and support projects that will “reduce greenhouse gas emissions in extreme weather and climate change impacts.”

The town hopes to apply any funds toward a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system for the town office building.
