I saw on the news July 30 on WMTW 13 about 11 people being shot, with one dead, in six different shootings in Washington, D.C.
I don’t understand how this could happen in a city with a complete ban on guns. I guess that isn’t working out so well.
Maybe an armed retired police officer, or an armed former military person, or an armed John Q. Public could have intervened and stopped the violence.
Not every armed citizen has ill intent; most carry for their protection as well as the protection of those around them.
