MIAMI, Fla. – Daniel A. Charest died July 5, 2022, following a long illness. He was born in Lewiston, Maine, Nov. 13, 1954, the son of Norman E. Charest and Bertha Y. LeClair Charest (Libby).

He attended Fryeburg Academy, and remained in the area working for various audio equipment companies. Before relocating to Florida, he was self employed in Audio Pro Training (ARRAY), and an avid fisherman and Boston Bruins fan.

He is survived by three sons, Adam M. Charest of Fryeburg, Kyle D. Ferguson of Maine, and Derek J. Charest of Newmarket, N.H., granddaughters, Kallen, Nyla, and Brie Charest of Fryeburg.; sisters Joanne Ducharme (L. Paul) of Poland, Monique Leamon (James) of Casco, and Dianne Dubois (Gerald) of Turner; brothers Leonard Charest of Miami, Fla., and Ronald Charest of Lewiston; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, and close family friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and older brothers, N. Michael Charest and Bernard Charest.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.
