Patricia M. Hennessy

LEWISTON – Patricia M. Hennessy, 80, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away on Friday, Aug. 5, 2022, at Marshwood Center in Lewiston. She was born on Nov. 6, 1941, in Gardiner, the daughter of Leo and Irene (Knapp) Lancaster. She attended schools in Livermore Falls and was a 1960 Graduate of Livermore Falls High School. Over the years Patricia worked for Bass Shoe, Livermore Falls Shoe and Carlton Woolen. Later she worked as a hairdresser after graduating from Bernard School of Hair Fashion in 2007 at the age of 65. On April 21, 1973, in Turner she married Bruce W. Hennessy. She was a soldier for the Lord and was a member of the Son Shine Ministries in Jay. She saved many precious souls over the years. She loved to garden; flowers were her specialty. She was an avid bird watcher. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Patricia was the Matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bruce Hennessy of Livermore Falls, daughters, Blanche Davis and husband Kevin “Cubby” of Wilton, Ellen Ebel and husband Steven of Xenia, Ohio, 11 grandchildren, Nicholas Shink, Nathan Grant, John “Her Golden Boy” Oberton, Arianna Davis, Heather, Hillary, and Hailey Hemminger, Connor and Cameron Ebel, Kate and Kaine Hennessy, 18 great-grandchildren with one on the way, seven great-great-grandchildren and her dog and best friend Dolly. She was predeceased by her parents, sons; Raymond Hemminger, Adam Hennessy, Leo Hemminger and great-grandson Dillan Shink. Messages of condolence may be sent to: http://www.finleyfuneralhome.com.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. Visitation will be held from 12-1 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at a later date at Fayette Mills Cemetery, Tom Surrey Road, Fayette, Maine.
