OXFORD — The Empowered Women’s Conference, with featured speaker Paula Jeffries from West Virginia, is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Hosanna Church at 109 Schoolhouse Road.
Jeffries is an ordained minister with the Assemblies of God. She speaks at women’s conferences as well as being a freelance writer, according to a news release from Nancy Hanson.
Jeffries and her husband, Charles Jeffries, pastored a church in the Oxford Hills for several years before returning to their home in West Virginia.
Paula Jeffries is a certified life coach who writes a column for Christian women in her local newspaper. She serves as the chaplain for the city police and county sheriff’s office in her hometown.
Lunch will be provided and door prizes will be given out. There is no entrance fee, but donations will be accepted at the door.
