Robert Leo LaFlamme

AUBURN – Our dear father Robert, known as “Bob” to family and friends left this world at the age of 85.

We will deeply miss his indomitable spirit and zest for life.

He was a man of integrity and honor, full of grace until God called him home. Bob had a long-standing relationship with God and was blessed with his faith.

Preceded in death by his wife Rita LaFlamme, soulmate and the love of his life.

Bob lived his life as a hardworking, dedicated, faithful and, loving man. He made friends everywhere he went and could talk for hours.

Bob was a veteran and proudly served our country In the Army – serving two years in Germany.

Bob had a passion for playing the banjo and listening to banjo music.

In his later years, faced with health problems, Bob lived a courageous and gracious gentlemanly life.

He is survived by his son John LaFlamme and his wife Karen LaFlamme of Lewiston, Maine, his son James LaFlamme and his wife Ethel LaFlamme of Greene, Maine; his granddaughter Nikki LaFlamme of Franklin Square, New York, his grandson Benjamin LaFlamme of Greene, Maine; his brother Lenord LaFlamme and his wife Tina LaFlamme of Franklinton, North Carolina; and extended family.

The family would like to thank all the health care professionals who took great care of him. C&M Home Health Care – especially Brittany Androscoggin Home Health Care and Hospice, The Veteran’s Home Health Care, Androscoggin Hospice House, Albert and Burpee Funeral Home.

In honor of Bob’s memory we are holding a celebration of Life In remembrance of all who loved him and our dear Rita LaFlamme September 24, 1 p.m., Greene Baptist Church – Greene.
