FARMINGTON – Virginia L. Easter, 99, of Wilton, died peacefully at Pinewood Terrace in Farmington on Thursday, July 21, 2022.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1922 in Brookline, Mass., a daughter of Arthur and Annette (Casey) McFee. On May 30, 1942, she moved to Wilton where she married Alton L. Easter. He predeceased her in 1992.

Virginia retired in 1984, having been employed for 25 years as a secretary at Forster Mfg. Co.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Priscilla E. Missita who died in January of 2011, as well as her two sisters: Frances Dakin and Pauline Caneney.

She is survived by her grandson, Christopher Missita of Boca Raton, Florida; her son-in-law, George Missita of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a public memorial graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton, date and time to be announced and updated on her memorial wall in her Book of Memories at http://www.wilesrc.com. Cremation and graveside services are in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, Farmington. Public memorial graveside services will be held Tuesday morning, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m., at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
