Gold event
BETHEL — On Sept 3 at 11 a.m. on the Bethel Common, the annual Maine goes Gold event will bring awareness to kids fighting cancer in a fun, community-loving way. The event is free, thanks to donations, and there will be kids’ games, face painting, crafts, Superheroes, and live music; food is available for a small donation, and at 8:30 p.m., the day will end with fireworks. Bring a blanket, and chairs, hang out and enjoy the music. Donations and sponsors are welcomed.
