Singer-songwriter Kevin Libby & Co. will entertain at Music for Mavis Tuesdays at the Gazebo at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 23, in Turner. His Company tonight will be the powerful and talented Robbie Coffin on guitar and vocals, Dave Thibodeau on bass, and Mark Horn on drums.
A native son of Turner, Libby grew up in the heart of a musical family, singing, playing, and gathered around the piano at home with his sisters, brother and parents. Though he sings and plays blues and rock – country is his home. Merle Haggard was the first country legend to capture his attention when he was young and remains a strong influence on his work to this day.
The show will go on rain or shine. Bring a chair, a blanket, and a friend. We pass the hat to pay the musicians. Suggested donation $10.
For more information, call 207-754-0954 or visit the Music for Mavis page on Facebook. The gazebo is located off Rt. 117 near the Turner Public Library at 98 Mathews Way, Turner.
