Between August 2 and 9, Rotarians Mark Beck and Per Nygren, above, and members of the Bethel Rotary Club were entirely focused on making its annual Yard sale a success. Pushing through the extreme heat and several storms, Rotarians showed up every day ready to greet shoppers, move new treasures from storage to the sale, and after seven days, a group gathered to clean up. The proceeds from this event are invested into its scholarship fund – and directed to community causes that are both collaborative with other Bethel area organizations and meaningful.
