I am thrilled to support Bettyann Sheats for state senator, representing District 20: Auburn, Poland, New Gloucester, and Durham.

Her openness to discussion with constituents and fellow legislators who hold diverse views, her optimism that citizen legislators can make a difference for good, her years of dedication to community service, and her experience as a small business creator and owner, all make her an outstanding choice for the Maine Senate.

Bettyann also has a record of advocating for environmental issues that affect the quality of our lives. Maine Conservation Voters tracks votes on the most important environmental and conservation issues of each session. For the four years that she served in the Maine House, Bettyann received a perfect rating. (She was absent for one vote.)
