ANSWER: In the remote chance that no one comes forward with the Wii, I’ve seen theses gizmos at Goodwill and Play It Again Sports, as well as stores that sell preowned games, consoles and devices. A Wii is a lot of fun and a great thing to have, especially during our long Maine winters. Using a Wii is a good way to get some exercise and involve the whole family or a group of friends. We really enjoy ours!

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I’d like to donate my old upright piano to a local charitable organization, school, or senior living center that is looking to add such an instrument to its space. DEAR SUN SPOTS: I hope you or one of your readers can help me. I have been doing everything I know how to do to find an address for the Discover credit card company because I need to write them a letter. Is there anyone out there that can help me? I’m getting desperate! — No name, Bethel

ANSWER: Don’t despair! Here is the address for Customer Service: Discover Financial Services P.O. Box 30943 Salt Lake City, UT 84130-0943. If your letter is regarding your payments, that address should be right on your monthly bill. I hope this puts your mind at ease and that you can now get that letter to them. You can also call them at 1-800-347-2683.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: How do I get involved in Gov. Janet Mills’ campaign for reelection? I have never done anything like this before and now is the time. — Sarah, no town

ANSWER: November will be here before we know it. It’s great to get involved and find ways to stand up for what you believe in and to support your preferred candidates.

If you go to the website, https://janetmills.com/volunteer/, you can sign up to volunteer or donate funds. You can also check this website: https://www.mainedems.org/volunteer where you can sign up for volunteer opportunities to support all Maine’s Democratic candidates. Most of these opportunities involve knocking on doors in various communities, working the phones, or writing letters, but let them know if you have other jobs in mind because there may be more options available.

Another website I found is https://swingleft.org/groups. This group is in Portland but you can learn how to start your own local group that supports Maine Democratic candidates as well.
