Nettie

Nettie is a sweet girl who is looking for a quiet home where she’ll have lots of love. She came to RPC as part of a state seizure elsewhere in the state; the dogs were living in poor conditions and many needed medical care. Almost all of the dogs have been adopted now, but Nettie is still looking for her special home. Nettie has a grade 6 heart murmur. She is not on any medication at this time, but she may need medication in the future.

She’s a happy and mild-mannered girl and likes to be held when she gets the chance. She has lived with a lot of small dogs so would be fine with a small dog friend or two. Nettie is looking for an adult home, we won’t be placing her with young children. She’s just a little peanut, weighing in at about 7.5 pounds, so she can’t go outside alone; she’ll need to be kept safe from predators.

We don’t know her exact age, but the vet says she’s 5+ years. Because of her heart murmur, she can’t undergo anesthesia to have a dental. Because of her former living circumstances, Nettie needs some patient help with house training. Nettie is a happy and adorable girl with a lot of love to give. Do you have room in your heart for Nettie?
