LEWISTON – David M. Jenkins, 63, of Turner passed away Aug. 24, 2022, after a short battle with cancer with his family by his side.
David was born in Lewiston on Feb. 24, 1959, the son of Elwood Jenkins and Marilyn Lovely Jenkins Trundy.
He graduated from Edward Little High School in 1978.
He was in the Army National Guard for four years and received an honorable discharge. He worked at Hammond Lumber for many years.
David married the love of his life Linda Jenkins on June 21, 2008.
His hobbies included going to the Oxford 250 with his son Scott, riding his motorcycle, he loved the Beatles and John Lennon, had a love for animals and loved the ocean, sightseeing and NASCAR. He loved his wife and family very much. David was a kind-hearted man and loved life.
He is survived by his wife Linda Jenkins; daughters Nicole Morris and her husband Ted Morris, Rachel Lewis and Jenni Jenkins; son Scott Jenkins and wife Amy; seven grandchildren; three sisters Cindy Emery, Lisa Jenkins and Brenda Jenkins; an nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by both his parents.
There will be a celebration of life of Sunday, September 11, at 1 p.m., at the VFW Hall on Minot Avenue in Auburn. Arrangements are under the care of Chandler Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, 26 W.
