Nancy Hannah (Mee) Webster
HENNIKER, N.H. – Nancy Hannah (Mee) Webster, 86, a resident of Fayette and Concord, N.H., passed away following a lingering illness, Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2022, at her son’s home in Henniker, N.H.
She was born Aug. 31, 1935 at home in South Acton, the youngest of 12 children, of Horace Henry Mee and Marcia Everline (Hurd) Mee. Nancy attended a one room school in Acton, Lincoln School, was a graduate of Sanford High School and graduated from Gorham State Teacher’s College in 1958.
On Aug. 3, 1958, at 4 p.m. she married Richard Allen Webster of Fayette at the South Acton Baptist Church, in Acton. Through the years Nancy taught 5th and 3rd grade in Augusta and 1st and 2nd grade in Manchester, N.H. She later worked for Ruth Wells Kindergarten in Derry, N.H. Nancy purchased the facility from Ruth Wells in 1976 renaming it Webster Wells. It later became Nancy Webster’s Kindergarten and Nursery School, which she owned and operated for 27 years.
Nancy was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church in Derry, N.H., working tirelessly with children, Vacation Bible School and Scouting at all levels. She was 7th degree and National Member of Grange, a member of the National Teacher’s Association, and a Deaconess and choir member at the North Livermore Baptist Church.
Nancy also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and many friends. She was always happy to see everyone. She loved people. Nancy was thrifty and careful with all resources so as not to waste anything, something learned from the depression and the lean war years.
Nancy was predeceased by her parents; all her siblings and their spouses, eight brothers, Chester, John, Victor, George, Arthur, Horace, Richard, Charles, three sisters, Agnes, Olive, Margie; and her oldest son, Horace Erle Webster. Several cousins and nieces and nephews also predeceased her.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Richard Webster, of Fayette and Concord, N.H.; her sons, Bryan Webster and partner, Suso Pinzolo of New York City, N,Y., Keith Webster and wife Sherry of Henniker, N.H., her daughter, Julie Main and husband, Richard, of Raton, N.M., a daughter-in-law, Tana Webster of Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Rochelle, Daisygreen, Nicolo, Sydney Ruth, Mackenzie, Ryan and Catelynn; and many treasured cousins; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., on Sept. 10, at the North Livermore Baptist Church, 619 Federal Rd., Livermore. Interment at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Haines Corner Road, Livermore Falls. Arrangements by FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
