Reginald (JayR) Warren Wing Jr.

LEGRANDE, TEXAS — Reginald “JayR” Warren Wing, Jr., 62, formerly of Dixfield, ME, died on August 11, 2022 at his residence in Legrande, Texas. Reggie was born on April 3, 1960 in Rumford, the son of Carol Ann (Greene) and Reginald Wing Sr. He graduated from Dirigo High School in 1979, and CMVTI of Auburn in 1981.Following school, he worked primarily in HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) and was a natural in repairing almost anything. He relocated to Las Vegas, NV where he continued his career in HVAC. Reggie stepped up and became a father and grandfather and loved every minute of it. Anyone who knew Reggie knew that he always was helping someone and had a soft spot for animals. He enjoyed the company of his friends and family. He taught his son-in-law the ins and outs of HVAC. He would often be in the kitchen with his granddaughter putting their culinary skills to good use making bread or pizza. Reggie could often he found in his shop working on projects for the house. He was a “man of many trades” and could often be found welding, carving or just being creative. He was also a member of King Hiram Lodge #57 Grand Lodge of Maine. Survivors include Kate Locklier of Lagrange, TX; daughters, Katie Hallberg and Sarah Huffsmith; grandchildren, Allyssa Springsteen, Rachael Huffsmith, Lindsey Huffsmith, Lillian Garcia, Corbyn Hallberg, Katelyn Hallberg and Carsyn Hallberg; great-grandchildren, Matthew Springsteen, Allyson Springsteen, Katelyn Farni, Karter Martinez and Jackson Reginald Martinez.Also, father and stepmother, Reginald and Pat Wing of Peru; brothers, Randall Wing of Dixfield, Ronald Wing and his wife, Christine Nagy of The Dalles, OR; nieces, Brianna Wing of Phoenix, AZ and Mary Ann Wing of Dixfield; and a nephew, Ryan Wing of The Dalles, OR.
