To the Editor:
The Bethel Ambulance Service would like to welcome everyone in the community to come for our open house on Saturday, September 17 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. We will give tours of our station and ambulances, be on hand to answer questions, and provide some tasty treats. We are hoping people will take the opportunity to learn about our department and how it serves the greater Bethel community.
We would also be happy to provide information to anyone who might be interested in joining our organization. There is no prior experience necessary. We are looking for drivers, EMTs, AEMTs, and Paramedics. Whether you can only do one shift a month or several shifts a week, we welcome your assistance in serving our community.
If you can’t make it to our open house, but would like more information on how you can join our organization, you can email us at [email protected].
We look forward to seeing all of you on September 17.
David Hanscom, Chief
Bethel Ambulance Service

Comments are not available on this story. Read more about why we allow commenting on some stories and not on others.
We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
