We have known Ed Rabasco for 20 years. We appreciate his intellect as he volunteers to fulfill the duties of moderating Poland town meetings and serving on the RSU 16 school board for 12 years.
His dedication to his community is unwavering.
Rabasco is the ideal candidate for district attorney because he would work collaboratively to ensure consequences for criminal behavior to address the root of the problem. He understands that early intervention for juveniles reduces the potential for them becoming adult offenders. He recognizes the need for substance abuse treatment for those suffering with addictions.
These measures would decrease crime. We would no longer have to waste millions of dollars building new jails to house people being held on unnecessary cash bail. Wasteful spending incarcerating people for months for minor crimes needs to end.
Ed Rabasco is the ideal person to be our next district attorney. We endorse him wholeheartedly.
