To the Editor:

Each year, the Bethel Rotary Club commits itself to help make our communities better places to live, work, and play. The annual Rotary 5K and 1 mile, which has existed for 7 years, has raised more than $35,000 to invest, specifically, into helping the youth of the Bethel area access after-school and enrichment activities. Some of the programs that have benefitted from this are: Mahoosuc Kids Association, Telstar Youth Football, Mt. Abram after-school ski program, Telstar/Sunday River Ski Program (Bethel Recreation Program), Toe, Tap & Jazz Dance School, Western Maine Budo Arts, Bethel Historical Society Thursdays at the Museum Program; Paint, Doodle, Create art classes, CPS Instrumental music program, Camp Susan Curtis and more.

All of what we do is made possible through partnerships with generous businesses and individuals! A huge thanks to HealthReach Community Health Centers for their Presenting Sponsorship each year!
