Auburn firefighters respond at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday to a fire at 38 Fifth St. Three tenants of the two-unit apartment building got out safely. One tenant was evaluated for smoke inhalation but was not transported to a hospital. Damage was contained to one upstairs room.
