LEWISTON – Kenneth L. Hamel, 72, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022.
Born in Lewiston on March 25, 1950. He was the son of Alphonse and Yvette Casey Hamel. He married Muriel (Pelletier) on August 28, 1976. Graduating from Lewiston High in 1968, he began working with the state in the Department of Human Services. He loved Marvel movies and well as Star Trek.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Muriel Hamel; his nephews, Kelly Hamel of Litchfield, Jeffrey Hamel of Lewiston, his niece Melanie Cianelli of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Kenneth was predeceased by his brother Maurice who passed away in 1998.
