FARMINGDALE Ihsan Adbalnabi’s goal with 17 minutes, 36 seconds remaining lifted Hall-Dale to 1-1 draw with Monmouth Academy in MVC boys soccer on Wednesday.

Hall-Dale (5-3-3) collected its third consecutive tie, while Monmouth (9-0-1) remained undefeated after opening the season with nine straight wins.

Monmouth’s Brandon Smith opened the scoring early in the second half, with Patrick Strout earning the assist. Adbalnabi’s game-tying goal was only the third scored against Monmouth all season.

Monmouth keeper Hunter Frost made four saves, while Hall-Dale’s Jackson Leach had 11.

MT. ABRAM 1, LISBON 0: Morgan Thibodeau used an assist from Charlie Pye and scored the winning goal to lift the Roadrunners to a victory over the Greyhounds in Salem.

Mt. Abram (9-1) goalie Trey Reed made one save to preserve his victory, while Levi Tibbetts stopped seven shots for Lisbon (7-3-1).

BUCKFIELD 2, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN/DIRIGO 1: The Bucks (2-7-1) scored two goals in the second half to slip away with a win over the Phoenix (3-8) in Jay.

Spruce Mountain/Dirigo jumped out to a 1-0 lead at halftime after Lucas Towers scored on a Caleb Parlin assist.

Buckfield goalie Gavin Charest got the win in net, making just one save. Nate Holland made five saves for the Phoenix.

FIELD HOCKEY
HALL-DALE 3, OAK HILL 0: Faith McDougal scored twice as the Bulldogs (5-5-1) shut out the Raiders (4-9) in Farmingdale.

Mira Skehan assisted on all three Hall-Dale goals and Kiley Rolfe added a goal.

Jade Graham made three saves in goal for Hall-Dale, while Sierra Lane stopped 16 shots for Oak Hill.

LISBON 4, TELSTAR 1: Olivia Saunders scored a pair of goals to help pace the Greyhounds (8-3) past the Rebels (0-10) in Bethel.

Saunders opened the scoring in the first quarter and Riley Hoyle’s goal from Reesa Theriault-Guay pushed Lisbon’s lead to 2-0 at halftime. Avia Russo and Saunders each scored in the third quarter. Vivienne Charette got Telstar on the board in the fourth.

Lindsy Stephenson made 14 saves for Telstar and Maria Levesque made one save for Lisbon.

HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL
CONY 3, LEWISTON 0: The Rams (6-5) passed the .500 mark with a three-game sweep (25-18, 25-13, 25-10) of the Blue Devils (2-10) in Augusta.

Cony’s Ashley Tobias had three aces and seven digs, Avery Theriault had 11 aces, three kills and two digs and Kristin Merrill had two aces, two kills and seven assists. Isabella Coco added seven aces.

For Lewiston, Alex Gutshall was 14 for 15 serving with three aces, to go along with four kills and three digs. Amino Jumo added four kills and two digs, and Kaitlyn Shannon pitched in with two kills, two digs and an ace.

Cony beat Lewiston in the JV matchup, 25-9, 25-18.

WOMEN’S SOCCER
UMF 6, FISHER 1: Sydney Belanger, Grace Mahmood, Audrey Fletcher and Abby Lash each scored a goal in the Beavers’ win over the Falcons (5-6-1) in Farmington.

University of Maine at Farmington (5-5-1) also took advantage of two Fisher own goals. Olivia Leo made 13 saves to earn the win.
