Arthur Calvin Myshrall

CANTON – Arthur Calvin Myshrall died Sept. 21, 2022. He was born Jan. 18, 1934 in Eustis, the son of Arthur & Arlene (Nile) Myshrall.

Arthur graduated from Andover High School in 1952. He joined the Army Military Police from 1954 to 1956. Over the years he worked as a milk tester for Oxford County and later became a foreman at the Andover Wood Products. In 1960 he joined the Oxford County Sheriff’s Dept (per diem) for 17 years, continued as a Guard for the Satellite Station in Andover, later becoming owner of the guards until it resolved. Arthur also sold wood for Andover Wood Products and became owner of Manpower Services in doing construction, built the Andover Post Office in 1979 and in 1981 built the Elderwood Manor for the elderly, operating it until 2013.

Arthur married Le (Porter) Myshrall in 1954, who passed in Andover, Maine on Nov. 23, 2019.

Survivors include his adopted son Michael from Washington State and a son Kevin from Gilead, Maine; two sisters, Barbara Yates of Newry, Maine and Joanne McNabb of Oklahoma; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday Oct. 15, 2022 at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Andover. Arrangements are under the direction of the Meader& Son Funeral Home 3 Franklin St Rumford.
