Imagine being a 15-year-old cat and all of a sudden finding yourself living in a cage in a shelter. It’s sad for a cat at any age, but especially for an older gal who didn’t expect life to take such a turn. Missy has been with us since July, and was brought to us because a new cat in her home was picking on Missy.
Staff call Missy an “angel”. She is very sweet, she likes to be held and seems like she would be fine with other respectful cats. Missy’s beauty is off the charts; we must warn you that your productivity levels will no doubt go down drastically as it’s hard to not spend long periods of time staring at her gorgeous face and luxurious coat. Missy does require a daily thyroid medication which is inexpensive and she takes it easily in her food. Missy needs to be an indoor cat.
Missy would love to be stretched out in her retirement home rather than confined to a shelter cage. Do you have room in your heart and your home for Missy? You can meet Missy during our open hours or by appointment. Fill out our adoption application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/cats to be preapproved.
