BETHEL — Telstar Middle School field hockey had a tough 7-0 loss on Wednesday, September 28 to a strong Mountain Valley team. The Rebels battled hard with Olivia Hughes, Tobe Smith, Kimberly Muck, and Quinn Coolidge making many clears on defense. Kendal Duchart had 17 saves in goal.
On September 30 TMS field hockey played strong against Spruce Mountain despite a 9-0 final score. The defensive unit of Olivia Hughes, Natalie Charette, Kimberly Muck, Ava Head, and Quinn Coolidge made many clears throughout the game, and goalie Kendal Duchart racked up 19 saves.
Tobe Smith helped to move the ball up the field with consistent free hits, supported by Meshia Lee, Bailey Watrous, Sabrina Tripp, Evelyn Kirkey, and Idella Cooley. They all showed great teamwork and a positive attitude throughout the game.
