An opening reception presented by the Pace Galleries of Art will be held for “Ian Factor: Resolve & Resilience” exhibit from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, at the Leura Hill Eastman Performing Arts Center. Admission is free.
This exhibition features a collection of works in oils on canvas and charcoal on paper created over the last decade from Factor’s time living in New York City and Bend, Oregon. It includes pieces from a series conveying a social and/or political narrative, plus numerous portraits, and selections from his highly-charged “Danger” series. All works are available for purchase.
Following the opening reception, the exhibition will be open to the public on Tuesdays from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. and Thursdays from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. when Fryeburg Academy is in session, or at other times by appointment. Please email [email protected], or call 207-544-9066 to schedule a visit at another time. The LHE/PAC is located on the campus of Fryeburg Academy at 18 Bradley St., Fryeburg.
