NORWAY — The Thrift Shoppe at the Second Congregational Church, 205 Main St., Norway will reopen on Saturday, October 29, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The shop is filled with new and vintage items: dishes, glassware, paintings, holiday décor, tools, small appliances, linens, toys, collectibles, books, and so much more. All items are clean, neatly displayed and reasonably priced. Proceeds from the Thrift Shoppe support the many missions of our community church.

We also are now accepting donations for the Thrift Shoppe. We are seeking higher quality donations that are more suitable for a thrift shop than a yard sale: something that you might regift, something you once liked, something that is in your cupboard or closet that hasn’t been used for a while. We’re looking for clean, gently used items that someone else would treasure. We are also seeking holiday items that people would like to buy for upcoming months. You may drop off items at the barn, through the parking lot door. We do not accept computers, car seats, cribs, weapons, or clothes.

On Saturday, October 29, we will also have the last 2022 outdoor, ‘under the tents’ yard sale, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. If you have furniture to donate, please deliver it to the tents on Thursday, 10/28, or Friday, 10/28.

Thank you for your support. See you on Oct. 29.
