WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Jacqueline Bernier Tetu died peacefully Oct. 12, 2022, after a sudden illness with her sister, Pauline, by her side.

Jacqueline was born in Lewiston on Sept. 8, 1932 to Henry and Carmen (Dionne) Bernier. She graduated from Lewiston High School in 1951.

In 1954 she married Gerard Tetu who was serving in the U.S. Marine Corp. Jaqueline joined her husband in his travels until retirement and then settled in Winter Haven, Fla. where they made their home.

Jaqueline is survived by her twin sister, Pauline Perham, of Lewiston; and nephew, Michael Champage.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, Henry Bernier Jr.

Burial will take place in the Veterans cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. with a private service.
