Henry Rogers, 5, of Lewiston turns an apple press Friday while helping make apple cider at The Root Cellar in Lewiston. Rogers and his brother, George, left, were helping Martha Bucher, who has made cider one day each fall at the center for the past five years. Youth from the center collected apples from local orchards on Wednesday with Bucher, the program coordinator for The Root Cellar.
