OTISFIELD — After two years off due to Covid, the Otisfield Social Outreach Committee is pleased to once again bring people together for a Thanksgiving Community Lunch from 11:30-12:30. A few dedicated volunteers are busy planning and shopping for the traditional Thanksgiving fare: turkey with stuffing and gravy, mashed potatoes, squash, cranberry sauce, rolls, coffee and cider. And of course, pies! Ginny Noble is soliciting for homemade pies and can be reached at 539-4027 if you are willing to make a pie.
More volunteers are needed for setting up, serving, and clean up for this meal as well as others if this wonderful community event is to continue. Please call George Gallant at 739-1065 if you can help. The free (donations appreciated) Thanksgiving Community Lunch is Wednesday, November 16 from 11:30-12:30 at the Otisfield Community Hall at 292 State Route 121. Hope to see you there!
