POLAND — The Tri-Town Optimist Club of Mechanic Falls, Minot and Poland is proud to announce its RSU 16 Student of the Month recipient for October, Jason Letourneau. Jason, a sixth grader from Poland Community School, is described by his teacher and principal as a student leader who models the school code of conduct to be respectful, responsible and safe. He is always kind to everyone and is never seen without a smile. Jason goes the extra mile in both his school work and in his caring relationships with others.
