My first awareness of Bettyann Sheats’ caring nature occurred through an older woman in my neighborhood who had a Bettyann sign on her lawn.

When I asked her how she knew Bettyann she said she had stopped by to speak with her the other day. When Bettyann asked her what she needed, the woman told her that her upstairs toilet was broken. She then said, “Bettyann went right upstairs and fixed it.”

That’s the nature of this candidate. She participates in her community, she cares about her neighbors.

She has worked to get rid of toxic chemicals in children’s products, get rid of lead paint in older housing, and to provide housing for veterans. She cares and she gets things done.

That’s who I want representing me at the State House. I hope other voters do, too.
