Third Graders at Crooked River Elementary School and Rotarians George Klauber, Erin Nelson, Jesse Walsh and Aaron Hagan.

BRIDGTON — On Monday, October 24, Rotarians delivered dictionaries to third graders at Crooked River Elementary School in Casco and Stevens Brook School in Bridgton, as well as to students at Bridge Crossing Academy in Bridgton. “This year we were back in person in the classrooms, seeing the happy smiles on the youngsters as they leafed through their new dictionaries. It was very special,” remarked Rotarian Erin Nelson who chairs this important project for the Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club.

President Aaron Hagan remarked, “Any parent of a third grader without a dictionary, should contact me at LakeRegionRotary@gmail.com. We will get the dictionary to you. Let us know!”

The Dictionary Project is one of the Club’s most important literacy efforts. Rotarians love this service project!
