Hi everyone, Skittles here. I am a big boy with a big personality. I came to the shelter back in May as a stray with a big wound on my neck. The people have made guesses as to how I got it, but I’m not telling. I don’t want to think about it. They say some of it hasn’t healed yet so I’m still on some medication but I’m ready to get out of here and get on with my life.
I’m only 2-½ years old, so I’ve got my whole life ahead of me. I love attention and affection. I’ll be your best buddy if you’ll let me. A lot of people don’t want a black cat. I don’t understand that. Black cats are awesome. Black goes with everything. We’ll never clash with your outfit or your furniture. You can’t see our hair on your black pants. Holding a black cat is very slimming. There are a lot of black cats at the shelter, but in my humble opinion I am the coolest. Stop in when the shelter is open on Friday, Saturday or Sunday afternoons to meet me. Or you can make an appointment on other days. Fill out the shelter’s adoption application at www.responsiblepetcare.org/cats to be preapproved.
