Lillian D. Burke

LEWISTON – Lillian D. Burke, 74, of Lewiston passed away Monday, Nov. 7, 2022, peacefully and surrounded by her family.

Lillian was a mom of four and Grammy/Mimi to nine. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. Lillian had a love for life, family and friends. She enjoyed going dancing, playing at the Casino and knitting gifts for her family. She was a graduate of St. Dom’s Class of 1966. She was employed for many years at LL Bean and was fond of all of her co-workers and loved her job. Prior to that she worked for many years at the Sun Journal and made many life long friends there as well.

Lillian was predeceased by her parents Robert and Noella Burke, sister Marguerite Rodrigue, brother Ron Burke and grandson Nicholas Caron.

She is survived by her children Lisa Saltis, Michael (Angela) Saltis, Jessica (Scott) Ashe and Zachary Kent, her grandchildren Aaron and Victoria Crenshaw, Alasia Branche, Evan and Camden Saltis and Benjamin, Brayden and Nathan Caron and her siblings Robert, Michael and Richard Burke and Connie Goding as well as many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the American Legion, 428 Washington St. N., Auburn, from 1-4 p.m. All are welcome.
