John G. Gagne

GREENE – John G. Gagne, the son of Wilda and Elise Gagne was born on Nov. 4, 1939 and passed away Nov. 7, 2022. He is survived by four children and two stepchildren: daughters and spouses, Wanda and Robert Gayton, Mary and Corey Bradeen, Lynn and Michael Thomas, and a son, James Gagne. Stepchildren: Melissa DeVault and partner Harold Hutchins, and Erica DeVault, 16 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A sister, Veronique Thibault.

He was predeceased by his parents and brothers and spouses, Guy and Irene Gagne, Bert Gagne, Raymond and Gerry Gagne, and a sister Lorraine and Al Dinardo, Emile Thibault and Shawn DeVault.

Most of his career was spent driving for Local Construction companies, the most recent being Longchamps and Sons. John’s compassion for animals lead to many rescues, including dogs, cats and birds. He will always be remembered by family and friends for his readiness to help anyway he could, including a local cat rescue organization, Tommy’s Feral Feline Friends.
